SignManager first partnered with Domino’s Pizza three years ago, to assist with a Remove & Dispose program within the Franchise Division. Through that program their partnership grew, and SignManager then managed the Repair & Maintenance Program for them. In late 2013 Carlton & United Breweries came to SignManager with an exciting special project. CUB wanted to perform maintenance on their iconic neon VB sign at the Elsternwick Hotel for preservation. The project began with an inspection of the structure that secured the sign to the roof.
CUB engaged SignManager to help them upgrade the Corona Signage at the Gilligans Backpackers Hotel and Resort in northern QLD. CUB wanted to use real timber, being the most natural building material there is, not a printed look- alike product. Timber is not a typical signage material, so we teamed up with Sign Solutions NQ to help. We chose “spotted gum” timber as it had the best colour and grain, and lightly stained it as needed to achieve the required look.
In June 2015 Carlton & United Breweries’ Venue Solutions Manager Wayne Pilbeam came to SignManager with a unique project. CUB would be hosting a three-day International conference in Melbourne in June, with over 600 employees and CEO’s in attendance.
Two decades ago Carlton United Breweries realized their signage portfolio across some 25,000 pubs was out of control. The iconic brand did not have enough money to refresh their existing brands nor the resources to keep their existing and new signs maintained to a high enough standard.
CUB came to us with a project to cover two of their brands (VB & Cougar) at the International V8 Supercar Series over twelve tracks. CUB had purchased signage space at each of the individual tracks, and tasked SignManager to develop and implement the best possible TV cut through for their brands. As this was a new channel for CUB, they entrusted us to develop the best signage for international TV visibility
Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) has around 26,000 customer venues around the country. We were engaged by them in 2000 to manage signage at these sites. At the time, CUB had no coordinated national management process for signage. Consequently, there were some question marks over what signage they had, where it was located, what brand image it portrayed and what condition it was in.
The City of Greater Dandenong engaged SignManager to manage the installation of the Dandy Pig sign at its new home on the roof of the Dandenong Market.
During the installation of a new high-tech revolving airlock entrance at the library in Dandenong’s Harmony Square, the City of Greater Dandenong’s Project Manager turned to SignManager to design an illuminated sign to integrate neatly into the airlock’s design.
In the spirit of reconciliation, SignManager acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
