Carlton & United Breweries

Two decades ago Carlton United Breweries realized their signage portfolio across some 25,000 pubs was out of control. The iconic brand did not have enough money to refresh their existing brands nor the resources to keep their existing and new signs maintained to a high enough standard. SignManager were engaged to design programs to reduce the amount of signage, while redesigning their sign family to ensure CUB had enough budget to keep the signs in good condition and up to date.

Furthermore, CUB’s staff were spending a lot of time dealing with signage companies across the country. SignManager helped CUB save an exponential amount of time by sourcing the required 3 quotes through our national network of registered contractors. Being an independent consultancy that is not tied to a single manufacturer, CUB knew they were getting the best market value and had a central point of control for brand consistency, risk management and quality control. SignManager’s knowledge of the industry and bulk procurement of stock more than paid for our management costs.
